Al’s PhD was concerned with phenotypic plasticity in thermal tolerance – life history strategy of an invasive freshwater fish, for part of his thesis he investigated how exposure to novel temperature regimes alters the daily activity patterns and life history of the guppy (Poecilia reticulata).
