Research

I am an FCT postdoctoral Fellow at CESAM, DeBio Universidade de Aveiro, and I split my time between Aveiro and St Andrews. My three main areas of interest are behaviour, evolution and ecology. I am currently interested in examining how species respond to environmental uncertainty.

The two core questions that I am currently pursuing in my research are:

– do females vary their mate choice decisions under increased environmental variability?

– does increased environmental uncertainty lead to an increase in phenotypic diversity?
