Mora attended Parliament to present her science to a range of politicians and a panel of expert judges, as part of SET for Britain on Monday 17 March, where her poster on research about social behaviour of invasive fish was judged against dozens of other scientific research in the only national competition of its kind.

On presenting her science in Parliament, she said, “I have always been convinced of the importance of communicating scientific ideas on environmental conservation, being part of SET for Britain will be a great opportunity to reach wider audiences and top level decision makers”.

SET for Britain is a competition that showcases the work and communication skills of early career researchers, it gives an excellent opportunity for biological and biomedical scientists to showcase their research and raise awareness of the valuable work of biomedical scientists and scientists in general to politicians and the public.
