Maria presented the group’s recent meta-analysis of biodiversity time series at the Gordon Research Conference “Unifying Ecology across Scales” .
“It was my first Gordon conference, but I suspect not my last! I really enjoyed the format with extended discussion time. I also enjoy the breadth of topics and the size of the conference, which made me go to talks I would likely not see at a large conference because of no direct links to my current research. By forcing me outside of my comfort zone, and allowing informal discussions to take place, it was one of the most interesting conferences I have been to. I left with a bunch of new ideas.”
