Last Monday afternoon, several members of the group, along with scientists from elsewhere within the Biology department, visited the St Andrews Botanic Garden where they were treated to a guided tour by Director James Hearsum.
They were fortunate to be accompanied by Professor Tom Meagher, who was able to add valuable insight to the tour and also by Dr Heleen Plaisier who introduced them to some of the wonderful and extensive herbarium collections which are housed there.
